Dr. Falicia Jensen is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a strong background in both clinical and forensic psychology. She earned her BA in Psychology from Ashford University, followed by an MA in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University. She later completed a second MA and a PhD in Forensic Psychology, both with an emphasis in Crisis Response, from Walden University.
Since 2021, Dr. Jensen has been dedicated to working with first responders, becoming licensed in 2022. She specializes in the treatment of PTSD and has provided a range of services including individual therapy, intensive outpatient care, and marital counseling for first responder couples. Her clinical expertise also includes peer support training, critical incident stress management (CISM), and crisis response.
Dr. Jensen has presented at the Firehouse Family Retreat and the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology for three consecutive years. She has also served as a guest professor and conducted training sessions across various first responder agencies. Coming from a first responder family herself, Dr. Jensen has a deep personal connection to the community and was featured in a POST interview alongside her father, a retired police chief, discussing mental health in first responder families.
